What are the different routes to Settlement / ILR?
Some of the most common routes to ILR in the UK are listed below:

Will I need to take a test as part of my ILR application?
If you are between the ages of 18 and 65 years old, and you want to apply for Settlement in the UK, you will need to pass the Life in the UK test. The test covers elements of British customs and traditions and you will have 45 minutes to answer 24 questions. The Life in the UK test costs £50 and can be booked online via the Home Office website.
